First, you invite us into your or your loved one’s home. At this first meeting either the Care Specialist or the Geriatric Care Manager will conduct an assessment. Following this assessment, they will develop a care plan that will guide our work with you and your loved one. Next your loved one will be introduced to potential caregivers. Services will start when you decide to proceed.
Standard health care and Medicare do not cover the costs of long-term home care. Some people have long-term care insurance or qualify for veteran’s administration funding. In this case, we will be glad to help with each of these. Some people find that using a reverse mortgage can be an economical way to fund home care services. Most people, however, rely on their personal assets or the assets of family members to pay for their services.
For your safety and support, all caregivers are bonded and insured. The organization is licensed and insured.
When we start care you will be asked to pay for two weeks of service in advance. Then you will be billed monthly on the first of each month for the previous month’s services. All payments are made to the office address and are never given to the caregiver. We pay all caregivers on a bi-weekly basis and we cover all employer responsibilities including workers compensation and employer taxes.
When your caregiver cannot make it to your home, we will provide you with a temporary caregiver who will fill-in until your caregiver can return. When this happens, the care specialist will contact you or your loved one to ensure the continuity of care.
The All For You Home Care caregivers do light housekeeping. This means they do such tasks as laundry, changing linens, doing dishes, vacuuming your living area, tidying and cleaning your kitchen, bathrooms, and bedroom.
Your Care Specialist will supervise your caregiver. If you have concerns about the care you or your loved one is receiving you will call your Care Specialist and she will supervise the caregiver. All For You Home Care specialists supervise all caregivers to meet your individual needs.
We guarantee that we will do whatever it takes to make you or your loved one happy with our services. If you are not happy with your caregiver, we will work with you until you are happy.
We provide medication reminders and assistance and we log all medication usage. We do not, however, administer or dispense medication except in the case of having a medication certified staff member. Our preferred method of dealing with medication is to have a relative fill the medicine dispensers ahead by the week, month, or longer period of time. Another option to administrating medications is to use a pharmacy that will use blister packs for packaging the medication.
