We only hire professional caregivers who have chosen caregiving as their life’s work.  As simple as this may seem, it makes a huge difference.  How confident would you be if the mechanic fixing your car had never fixed a car before?  How would you feel if you knew that your hair dresser just got out of cosmetology school last week?  We understand that providing you a skilled and experienced caregiver is essential to fulfilling the WRAPAROUND promise.

Thorough Background Checks
Potential caregivers receive thorough background checks.  We go above and beyond to ensure that your caregiver will be trustworthy, and we do require drug screenings.

Top References
We require professional references from people who have worked with the caregiver, and know her work first hand.  When we check references there are 6 essential requirements:

  • Does she have the skills you need?
  • Is she honest and trustworthy?
  • Is she kind?
  • Does she come on time?
  • Is she a hard worker?
  • Is she neat and clean?

Professional Geriatric Care Manager
The Geriatric Care Manager is a title reserved for people who are certified through the National Association of Geriatric Care Managers.  A professional Geriatric Care Manager (GCM) is a health and human services specialist who helps families who are caring for older relatives. The GCM is trained and experienced in nursing, gerontology, social work, or psychology, with a specialized focus on aging.  All For You Home Care has a Geriatric Care Manager on staff to address all related issues.

You Choose Your Caregiver
To ensure a good relationship, we want you to choose your own caregiver.   It is important that we work together to get just the right caregiver match for you and your home.

Your Own Regular Caregiver
Once you are matched with a caregiver, we will assign that caregiver to work with you regularly.  Only under circumstances such as illness, family commitments or vacation will a caregiver substitute fulfill your home care needs.

Professional Assessment
When you invite us into your home for an assessment, it will cover personal needs, household needs, physical needs, social needs and home safety.

Professional Care Plan
When your assessment is complete, we develop a care plan.  This care plan will guide our work with you and may even help determine which caregiver you choose.  Based on your assessment, the care plan will outline what you want us to do, and how you want us to do it.  We will revise the care plan as often as you desire.

Billing Accuracy and Support
To alleviate any billing concerns, we employ a program called Telephony.  When a caregiver arrives for work at your home, she will use your telephone to call into a system that will document the time she arrived for work.  Likewise, when she leaves work she will use your telephone to document when she is leaving.  An office computer compiles this information, and services are billed accordingly, and accurately.

Quality Support Services
Administrative support services can make all the difference with home care. You never know when a caregiver may suddenly become sick, or when you may need to get some extra help on the weekend. We always have administrative support available, and will respond to your needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Caregivers are hired directly, so you never have to concern yourself with payroll, workers compensation, unemployment, disability, and social security.

We employ a Certified Senior Advisor experienced with funding home care services with long-term care insurance. He can help you with information about insurance billing, veteran’s administration funding, reverse mortgages, and other funding sources.
